Summer

Dylan is 6!

Dylan got a DS for his birthday along with a lot of other fun things. He had a great 6th birthday with his Aunt Dawn, Uncle Terry, Danielle, Kayla, Gaga, Poppy, Mimi, Papa, Dad, Mom, Cameron, and Ethan. We had a birthday breakfast instead of a dinner because I had to shoot a wedding that day. All in all he had a wonderful birthday.

A few weeks back we had a friends birthday party. His theme was A Day in the Jungle. Dustin painted each of the kids like a jungle animal of there choice (Dylan was a frog of course)! I made up passports for each child and took there picture for the inside and then the kids traveled around the back yard to save frogs, lizards, and snakes from a forest fire, made jungle animal puppets, got tattoos, and had to help the frogs to their lilly pads. The kids had a great time and Dustin and I decided we really liked working with the kindergarten age group. They were all so polite and even raised their hands when needing something!

More of this and that

Playing with the glow sticks. Geocaching in NY.
Swimming in the pool.

Catching fireflies! Ethan was so funny with this. It was his first time out catching them and the first one he caught he came walking back to the house closing his eyes and chanting "I wish, I wish.....I wish for a monkey"!

Little of this and that

The boys last day of school! Dylan heading for the bus with his teacher.

Cameron and his teacher.

Dylan recieving his awards from his teacher.

The things they were taught in kindergarten!

Dylan running during field day at school.

Hike

Dustin and I took the boys on a hike to the falls. The boys had a great time splashing around in the water and catching craw fish and minnows.

Dlyan baseball

Dylan being our little baseball star! He loved playing and caught on very quickly.

Cameron Swimming

Cameron again just loved having swim class during school hours. He is a little behind compared to the kids that have continued at Lansing School but he still did a great job and passed another level of swimming.

Dylan Swimming

Within the one week of swimming classes Dylan learned to swim. He is now a fish and loves it!
