Halloween

Halloween went very well. Cameron got to dress up for the whole day at school. When he first arrived he joined the other classes and marched around the school (elementary, middle, and high) to show off their costumes. He then had a big party with games, treats, and fun! Also for the past month the school had been being visited by "Howie" and he had kept leaving different goodies in funny places around the classrooms. On Halloween day the kids collected all of Howies goodies and made a big stew. There were princess zits, and eyeballs, and lizard tongues, and so many more delicious yummies! The kids loved it and it made for an even more exciting day! After Cam's party we went to Dustin's work to trick or treat. This was the first time we have been able to go into the Zoot building (there is a big time security thing there and you arn't allowed to just stop in). It was nice getting to see his work and meet many of the people he works with. I even met up with an old friend which was a great surprise. We then went trick or treating at Emerson school and then back to Three Forks where Cam got to go into the Haunted Hotel. It was a long sugar filled day but it went very well and the boys loved it!

Boys Pictures

Ok....before you even look at the pictures let me set the scene....it was a beautiful evening, Dustin was going to meet us at the park for family pictures, I decided I would go early and get all the boys single shots and the three of them together before Dustin arrived. Well lets just say after 15 minutes, I was about to throw in the towel and never take photographs again!!!! Cameron did a wonderful job (or at least tried to), Dylan had this need to keep putting his chin high into the air or when I told him to put his chin down then he looked dirrectly at the ground, and Ethan, well he is lucky I didn't sell him to the zoo!!!! I couldn't get any them to sit still long enogh to be near each other for a picture or when I had two of them looking perfect the other one just had to make a face or run off....Dustin arrived just in time before I threw my camera into the pond! (Thought that would be better then one of the kids)! Let's just say we never got a family picture and please don't be surprised if your Christmas cards have pictures of three cute little girls instead of three crazy little boys (my nieces were perfect angels with their photo session)!

Carving Pumpkins

For the first year, we allowed all the boys to do their very own carvings of the pumpkins. They each scooped out the "guts"
(except for Ethan who refused to touch any of the messy stuff), then they were each given a knife (kid friendly of course) and they went to town. Dylan's pumpkin had a few extra cut outs (he kept adding things so that he wouldn't have to put the knife down)! Ethan needed help with the carving but had his hand on mine the whole time. Dustin and I were very proud at how well they each did!!!! Kylee (our dog) just couldn't figure out what all the excitement was all about!

Pumpkin Farm

We went to the Pumpkin Farm with Vanessa and the girls. The boys had a great time jumping in haybails, swinging on tire swings, climbing trees, watching apples get made into cider, and riding the hayride out to find their pumpkins. The last picture was taken right as the snow began to come down heavily and by the time we rode back to the cars we were all covered in a beautiful white blanket! Minutes after leaving the sun came back out and you would never have guessed that it had snowed the way it had!!! That's Montana for you!!! :)

Soccer Star

Cam had a good season of soccer. He wasn't into it as much as he thought he would be but still tried his hardest and had a good time. He even scored a goal on his last game! Truth be told though he was usually more excited when they kept him out rather then in. He still ended up on the ground more then on his feet and his shoes made some great distance when he kicked....but hey he was full of smiles and laughs the whole time and it made for some interesting games!!!!
